Receiving Affordable Internet Access:
As the world around us goes digital, we must remember that many people do not have access to a reliable Internet connection outside of school or work. Internet providers like Comcast are offering affordable Internet plans.
As per Comcast's webpage:
New Internet Essentials customers will receive two free months of Internet service, which is available to all qualified low-income households for $9.95/month plus tax. Apply soon, because in order to qualify for the program, you must be approved by December 31, 2020.
Additionally, for all new and existing Internet Essentials customers, the speed of the program's Internet service has increased to 25 Mbps downstream and 3 Mbps upstream. That increase will go into effect automatically for no additional fee and it will become the new base speed for the program going forward.
