As digital learning initiatives continue throughout the county and nation, the Cherokee County School District has compiled a list of social and mental health resources at the link here.

Providing Meals to Students In Need:
For many students, meals provided at schools served as their main source of consistent meals throughout the year. As schools transition to remote learning, Cherokee County School District's Nutrition Board are providing a week's worth of breakfast and lunch options to every infant and child present under the age of 18. For a list of dates and locations to access these meals, please go to this site.
CCSD is also accepting financial donations to further expand this program to aid students in these unprecedented times. To donate by check, please follow the directions on the following link. Donations can also be made via credit card through this site.
Please note that CCSD cannot accept food donations or have volunteers serve at these meal distributions. However CCSD partners like MUST Ministries and the First Baptist Church of Woodstock are in need of donations to further serve the community at large.
All information mentioned thus far have been sourced from email communications sent by CCSD Chief Communications Officer, Barbara Jacoby, on behalf of the Superintendent Dr. Brian Hightower.
